Her professional expertise includes working nonprofit organizations, research, social services and overall healthcare management. Jacquel is a dedicated healthcare worker committed to positively engaging the community and improving health outcomes and access.
Adira Myers, MPH
Scientific Research Analyst
Adira is the Scientific Research Analyst for the Tulane Total Health clinic. She graduated from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with an MPH in International Health and Development with a content area in Data Management and Analysis for Global Health. She has a passion for global health research and programming, studying abroad in Thailand during undergrad and completing her graduate practicum in the Philippines. Adira received the R. Elise Magnus L. Memorial Achievement Award in 2020, which recognizes a person who has demonstrated excellence, achievement, and/or leadership in disease prevention or health promotion programs in the Greater New Orleans area. In her free time she enjoys yoga, acrobatics and hand balancing.
Trina Jeanjacques, MSW
Social Worker
Trina received her Master’s in Social Work from Tulane University in 2009. She has participated as a community partner in Connect to Protect® (C2P), a national research initiative that seeks to mobilize communities around the nation to examine the root causes of HIV among young people ages 13-24 and to develop long-term solutions to preventing the spread of HIV.
Edward Bonin, RN, MN, FNP-BC, FNAP
Adolescent Medicine Specialist | Nurse Practitioner | Instructor of Clinical Pediatrics
Originally from Baton Rouge, Eddie received his master’s degree in Nursing from LSU Medical Center. He is an Adolescent Medicine specialist, Instructor of Clinical Pediatrics and Family Nurse Practitioner. Eddie served as director of the Tulane Drop-In Center from 2000 to 2016, which provided both medical and social services for runaway and homeless youth. His personal Interests include travel and historic preservation. His beautiful garden was featured on the Secret Gardens of the Vieux Carre tour in 2019.
John Dwyer, DO
Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Dwyer joined the Tulane Infectious Disease department as an Assistant Professor of Medicine after completing his fellowship at Tulane in 2019. He is the Medical Director of the Antibiotic Stewardship Program at Tulane Medical Center, Co-Chair of Infection Control at Tulane Medical Center, and Associate Director of the Tulane School of Medicine Biosafety Clinic. He has a strong interest in clinical tropical medicine and successfully completed the Gorgas Diploma Course in Clinical Tropical Medicine in Lima, Peru in 2019. Further interests include HIV and HIV primary care, general infectious diseases, antibiotic stewardship and medical education. Dr. Dwyer’s personal interests include French langue and culture, Spanish language and Latin American culture, traveling and salsa and bachata dancing.
Allison Cormier, MD
Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Cormier is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tulane University and Director of Tulane Total Health Clinic. A native of New Iberia, Louisiana, she completed her medical degree and Residency in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport. She completed her Residency in Infectious Diseases at University of Wisconsin-Madison Hospitals & Clinics. Dr. Cormier’s clinical interests include HIV medicine, sexually transmitted infection treatment and prevention, and medical care in the LGBTQ community.
Tracy Harrell, LPN
Licensed Nurse Practitioner
Tracy graduated with honors from Charity School of Nursing in 2006. She loves being a nurse and has been honored three times with The DAISY Award, a peer/patient nominated award given for excellence in nursing. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys reading, writing short stories, the Lifetime TV network, cooking, volunteering and traveling. Married for 33 years, she traveled to Africa for her 25th wedding anniversary and is a proud mom of three children.
James Lewis
Health Models Coordinator
James has a strong interest in advocacy for LGBTQ youth and transgender individuals to ensure health equity by educating and empowering them. He has a passion for learning new lifestyle and eating techniques that elevate physical and emotional health. James enjoys leading motivational group discussion with community members and friends to encourage positive thinking and promote knowledge around healthy choices, mental wellness and social justice. A graduate of the University of New Orleans, James’s hobbies include baking/cooking, modeling, costume design, making custom umbrellas, growing herbs and TikTok.

Medical Assistant Kay McCurdy grew up in New Orleans and attended the Oliver Perry Walker School. Kay has always been a people person. Her hobbies include baking, traveling and spending time with family.
